Unraid Dash

Unraid Dash privacy policy

Last updated October 22, 2026.

Unraid Dash connects your Apple device to Unraid servers and web services that you configure. You do not create an Unraid Dash account. The app has no developer-operated telemetry or analytics service, advertising SDK, or tracking SDK, and does not track you across apps or websites. The developer does not automatically receive your server information, credentials, or app logs.

Information used by the app

If you enable the app lock or reveal a saved password, the app uses Apple's device authentication interface. Authentication is handled by the operating system; the app receives the result, not your fingerprint or face template.

Connections you choose

The app sends requests directly to the server addresses you configure, including reachable LAN and Tailscale addresses. Requests can include an API key, login information and actions that you choose to perform. Your servers and their administrators control how they handle those requests. The app does not provide a VPN or relay these requests through a developer-operated server.

Web pages opened inside the app can load content and make requests according to the behavior of those services. Their operators' privacy policies apply to information you provide to them.

Load icons from the internet is on by default. When enabled, the app downloads container icons from image URLs supplied by your server. Those hosts receive ordinary network request information, such as your IP address. The icon loader does not use the app's saved credentials or web session cookies. You can turn this setting off in Settings.

Apple handles iCloud, Keychain sync and operating-system diagnostics under your Apple account, device settings and Apple's policies. These services are separate from developer telemetry.

Your controls and retention

Profiles and saved credentials remain available until you change or remove them. Cached content, website data and local system logs can also remain after you close the app. The operating system controls log retention and cache eviction.

You can edit or remove saved logins in Settings. Sign out of all web UIs clears website data for the selected server. Clearing data for a host affects web UIs on that host, including other ports. Deleting a server requests removal of its credentials, certificate pins, snapshot and web data, and removes its profile. A deletion marker containing the profile identifier and deletion time is retained in profile storage to prevent an older synced copy from restoring the server. Removal can be affected by storage errors or sync availability; Apple controls sync and backup retention. Removing an app profile does not delete data or revoke an API key on your Unraid server. Revoke server credentials through the server when needed.

Information you choose to share for support

If you contact support, the developer receives the information you choose to send, which may include your email address, a problem description, screenshots or copied diagnostics. It is used to investigate and respond to your request. Email providers also handle that information under their own policies. Review anything you share and remove passwords, API keys, server addresses and personal content. Copying logs puts text on your clipboard; it does not send a support report.

Support reports may be retained with their correspondence history to resolve problems. Contact support about removal of information you supplied; copies held by email providers or others are subject to their own controls and retention.

Contact and changes

For privacy questions or support, email [email protected] or visit Unraid Dash support. Changes to the app's handling of information will be reflected in an updated policy.

These support pages

These static support and privacy pages are hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub handles ordinary connection information when you visit them under GitHub's privacy statement. Visiting these pages does not upload your app logs, server profiles or credentials.
